Before Your Appointment
Preparing for Your Brazilian Wax | Ewa Beach & Kapolei
Optimal Hair Length: Ensure hair is at least $1/4$ inch long (about a grain of rice)—usually 3 to 4 weeks of growth after shaving.
Exfoliate Lightly: Gently exfoliate 24 to 48 hours before your Brazilian wax to lift trapped hairs and dead skin.
Hydrate & Limit Caffeine: Drink plenty of water. Avoid caffeine and alcohol right before your visit to minimize skin sensitivity.
Wear Loose Clothing: Opt for soft, breathable cotton clothes to prevent friction immediately after your service.
A Note For People Living On Oahu:
Navigating prep in our tropical West Oahu climate comes with a few extra island considerations! Because our sunny Ewa and Kapolei days bring plenty of heat, humidity, and beach outings, it’s best to pause direct sun exposure, beach trips, and heavy outdoor workouts 24 hours before your visit. UV rays and trapped sweat leave skin raw and hyper-sensitive, while ocean sand can cause micro-abrasions. Giving your skin a cool, shaded break beforehand ensures your wax is as comfortable, soothing, and smooth as possible.
