Bare Culture is a locally-owned beauty brand and body waxing business in Kapolei, specializing in Brazilian Waxing. Our founder, Kendria Tangjian, is a Licensed Esthetician and Hard Wax Specialist with 11 years of experience in the industry. Through her expertise, Kendria has developed a deep understanding of her community and how her services impact their self-esteem.

We specialize in Brazilian waxing, which is a type of service in the bikini area where virtually all the hair is removed.
It’s a favorite in Hawaii as we are frequently working on our tans at the beach. Brazilians are also ideal for providing comfort in Hawaii’s hot weather.

Think a grain of rice (1/4 of an inch long). It’s best to let your hair grow for about 2-3 weeks prior to your wax appointment. Please DO NOT shave or trim before your appointment. Grow your hair out as long as possible. This will ensure the best wax results.

Come with at least 2-3 weeks of hair growth, stay hydrated, & avoid sunburn or anything that may leave the skin irritated before your appointment.
Wear something loose & comfy so your skin can breathe afterward.
& don’t stress about showing up perfectly. All bodies have hair, texture, scars, stretch marks, etc. Come as you are. We will take care of the rest.

We recommend getting maintenance every 3-4 weeks.
All Brazilians (new & maintenance) are $70.

Yes, aboslutely! Your period does not have to stop from keeping your wash appointment. Just arrive wearing a fresh tampon, cup or disc & we can wax as usual. Keep in mind that you may feel a little more sensitive during your cycle, so if you know your body prefers otherwise, plan your appointments accordingly. Your period also does not waive Bare Culture’s same-day cancellation policy.

Bikini line: Think a clean up of anything that might play peek-a-boo out of your bikini. Hair is removed from the sides & a small amount from the top while leaving the majority of the front untouched.
Bikini Full: This includes the bikini line + as much or as little hair removed from front. Leave a triangle, landing strip, or go bare. She’s customizable.
Brazilian wax : We’re going all in! A Brazilian includes everything in the Bikini Full + the butt strip (between the cheeks). You can still choose to leave a triangle or landing strip in the front if you’d like. & plot twist: the butt strip is the least painful part!
